Overview of Services

The Biomaterials and Advanced Drug Delivery (BioADD) Laboratory is a cutting edge research facility founded in 2010 on the Stanford University Medical Campus. Today’s problems in drug design require complex answers to achieve effective delivery and treatment. The Stanford BioADD Lab helps to solve these problems with advanced modern technology and innovative solutions. Specializing in the creation of biomaterials and drug delivery agents, the lab lends its expertise toward designing and analyzing biomaterials, developing drug delivery devices and formulations, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies, and developing smart materials for biomedical applications.

Publication Acknowledgement

As with all Stanford Service Centers, credit must be given to Biomaterials and Advanced Drug Delivery (BioADD) Laboratory for data that results in a publication. If the work done at BioADD produces data resulting in a figure in a publication, you are required to acknowledge BioADD in the publication. Further, if BioADD staff members provided significant experimental design, data interpretation, or other intellectual contribution (as evaluated by the PI), then it is expected that these individuals will be coauthors on the publication.

Service Agreement and Disclaimers

This Agreement sets forth the complete and final agreement between BioADD Center and Client/ collaborators and supersedes and terminates all prior agreements, discussion and understandings, written or oral. During the term of this Agreement, BioADD Center agrees to maintain any and all Confidential Information in strict confidence and not to disclose it outside BioADD Center, provided that the Confidential Information is clearly labeled in advance as confidential. If the Confidential Information is provided verbally, the disclosure of the information will summarize the verbal disclosure in a written document marked confidential and provide it in this form to BioADD Center. For all BioADD Center projects involving animals subjects, the Client/collaborators must annually provide the BioADD Center with copies of their current APLAC approval letter. BioADD Center is not responsible for obtaining approval or retaining such records. The study will be performed and a report will be sent by email to recipient within 14 days of the termination of study. Client/collaborators will receive a copy of original data for the study, and the original data will be stored on BioADD premises.
